Minneapolis Psychiatrist and Master of Public Health, Dr Anyake


Chukwuemeka Alexander Anyake, MD, MPH

Dr. Emeka Anyake is the Medical Director of Diamond Lake Clinic in Minneapolis, MN. He is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). In addition, he is a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association (APA), and member of the Minnesota Psychiatric Society.

Dr. Anyake earned a Master’s degree in Public Health, with concentration in Health Care Organization and Policy (HCOP), from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). He is a graduate of the University of Nigeria Medical School, and completed his Residency Training in Psychiatry at Hennepin County Medical Center (HCMC) in Minneapolis, MN.

Dr. Anyake also works as an Emergency Room and Inpatient Psychiatrist at a Twin Cities Hospital. He is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Minnesota.

He was the Medical Director of Acute Psychiatric Service at Hennepin County Medical Center from 2012 to 2015.

Dr. Anyake enjoys educating medical students and resident physicians, and specializes in the diagnosis and management of adult mental health and substance use disorders. 


Lisa Xiong, PA-C

Lisa Xiong is licensed as a Physician Assistant by the state of Minnesota, and is board certified by the National Commision for the Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).  She obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Colorado in Boulder and her Master of Science in Physician Assistant from Bethel University. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and Minnesota Academy of Physician Assistants (MAPA).

She has a background in violence prevention and non-profit organizations.  She takes a patient-centered approach to her practice and strives to “support and empower my patients to help them achieve their healthcare goals.” 

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, hiking, watching movies and honing her practice of Hmong cross-stitch embroidery.


Zachary McCalley, PA-C

Zach McCalley is a licensed Physician Assistant by the state of Minnesota and is board certified by the National Commission for the Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). He is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and the American Psychological Association

Zach obtained a Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Biology from the University of Iowa where he also worked as a research assistant at the Iowa Adult ADHD and Development Laboratory. He also has experience working in the field of addiction medicine.

In his spare time Zach enjoys playing and watching sports and spending time with his friends and family.


Howard Dickman, PhD

Howard Dickman completed his undergraduate education at the University of Pittsburgh and obtained his PhD from Kent State University. He began his career as a psychologist at the Mendota Mental Health Institute in Madison, Wisconsin. He was recruited to be the Director of the mental health outpatient program for deaf and hard of hearing clients at Saint Paul Ramsey Medical Center in St. Paul, MN in 1980. He eventually went on to be the Director of all deaf and hard of hearing mental health services for that hospital system, now known as Regions Medical Center.

In 2011 he transitioned to the full-time independent practice of psychology. In addition to providing services to deaf and hard of hearing patients, he provides consultation to Rehabilitation Consultants, a pain management clinic in Bloomington, MN, and urgent mental health consultations on general medical units at Fairview Ridges Hospital in Burnsville, MN.

In addition to serving the deaf and hard of hearing population, Dr. Dickman provides services to couples, patients with complex medical and mental health problems, and patients with general mental health treatment needs. His treatment orientation is eclectic, and he selects treatment interventions that best meet the needs of his individual patients.


Ron Zuchora, LPCC, LICSW

Ron Zuchora is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), and a Licensed Clinical Independent Social Worker (LICSW).

Ron is also an approved supervisor for prospective therapists seeking licensure. Ron uses therapeutic models such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, that includes Mindfulness, Solution-focused Therapy and Motivational Interviewing when working with adults and adolescents. He is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR).

Ron understands there is often more than one way to approach challenges involving mental health concerns, using holistic perspectives: Mind, Body Spirit. Ron has over 20 years of experience working in the mental health field and helping individuals in recovery from substance abuse. Ron also has extensive experience working with Native American peoples, including spending time living on a reservation in Arizona.

In his spare time, Ron enjoys being with his family, playing guitar, writing music, and spending time outdoors.


Craig Polsfuss, MA, LP, MSW, LICSW

Craig Polsfuss, MA, LP, MSW, LICSW (Emeritus) has over three decades of experience with nearly every mental health and addictions concern. He is the co-founder of a science-based, research verified approach called Brain First Psych™. He shows clients how to energize the brain’s highest potential for mental-emotional well being and high functioning – and then teaches them the Three Principles of Mind, Consciousness and Thought. Brain First Psych™ optimizes the client’s brain for the therapy session – and for life. The Three Principles point to a clear and simple understanding of how to live moment-to-moment in one’s innate mental well being.

Craig is available for individual and couple counseling and provides private pay online video coaching sessions. Craig is available for public and professional education and speaking.
